On this page
Invitations aren't always sent straight away. Here are the rules for each method.
Manual
Manual invitations are sent straight away.
Customer list (Bulk)
You choose under When should they be sent?:
- Send now: straight away.
- Tomorrow at 10:00: tomorrow at 10:00 Danish time.
- Spread over 5 days: in batches from tomorrow until 5 days from now.
Shopify and WooCommerce
You choose what triggers the invitation and how long to wait:
- Trigger: when the order is shipped, delivered (Shopify only) or paid.
- Wait: Same day, 3, 7 or 14 days after the trigger.
Example: With "When the order is shipped" and 7 days, the invitation is sent 7 days after the order is marked as fulfilled or completed in the shop. Wait long enough for the customer to have used the product. With "When the order is delivered", the waiting time is counted from when Shopify reports the parcel as delivered.
Nothing is sent until you've chosen Go live, and orders from before aren't invited afterwards.
The API
Orders from the API are invited 5 days after the delivery date.
The sending itself
We send due invitations in batches every 10 minutes. An invitation that is "sent now" can therefore take a few minutes to arrive. Under Latest invitations it's shown as Scheduled until it has been sent.
When is an invitation stopped?
- The order is cancelled or refunded before the invitation is sent.
- The customer unsubscribes before the invitation is sent. Stopped invitations are shown as Stopped under Latest invitations.
If the profile has received a warning, or is suspended, we hold the invitations back. They're shown as Scheduled, and none are sent until the case is closed.
