As a company you can't remove a review yourselves. If you think a review breaks the guidelines, you can report it so a moderator looks at it.
How to report
- Open Reviews in the dashboard.
- Open the menu with the three dots next to the review.
- Choose Report review.
- Choose one of the reasons below.
- Under Details you can write e.g. an order number, or why the review breaks the rules.
- Tick I confirm that the information is correct. This is required.
- Choose Send report.
You get a case number, and the review gets the Reported label in the dashboard, so the whole team can see the case is under way.
The reasons
- Not a genuine customer
- Abusive or threatening
- Personal information
- Advertising or spam
- Wrong company
- Conflict of interest, e.g. a competitor or a former employee
- Other
What happens next
- The review stays up while we handle the case.
- We only remove reviews that break the guidelines.
- If it breaks a rule, the reviewer gets the decision with a reason and can appeal.
Who can report?
The Owner, Admin and Can reply roles can report reviews. The Marketing and Read only roles can't. If you need to report, ask an owner or admin in your team to change your role in the settings.
What you must not do
- Report reviews because you disagree with the criticism.
- Report on a large scale to get rid of criticism. Misuse of reports can lead to the account being closed.
If the criticism is fair, a public reply is the best way. Read Reply to reviews and the guidelines for businesses.
