If a company breaks the guidelines for businesses, TrustSays can give a public warning. It's a person at TrustSays who decides it, not an automated system.
The two kinds of warning
- Warning: manipulated reviews: TrustSays has given the company a warning for fake or manipulated reviews.
- Warning: the company has broken the guidelines in another way.
The warning is shown at the top of the profile with the reason and a link to how we keep reviews honest.
What a warning means for you
- Invitations and reminders to customers aren't sent while the warning applies.
- The profile moves down in the category lists.
- Customers can choose to hide companies with a warning in search.
- If you don't have any reviews on TrustSays, we don't show your score from Trustpilot.
The reviews and SaysScore are shown as before.
Typical reasons
- Money, gifts or discounts for reviews.
- Reviews of your own company or of competitors.
- Pressure on customers to change or delete a review.
- Buying reviews.
What can you do?
- Read the guidelines, and stop whatever breaks them.
- Contact us with the domain and an explanation.
If you disagree with the warning, write to us. The warning is removed when TrustSays lifts it.
If you see lots of suspicious reviews of yourselves, report them. That won't give you a warning.
