Two-step verification for owners

Owners must use an authenticator app, so nobody can take over the company's account with just an email.

The owner can do everything in the dashboard, including team, plan and billing. That's why owners must use two-step verification with an authenticator app, e.g. Google Authenticator or 1Password.

How to turn it on

You're asked to do it right after the domain has been verified, or the first time you open the dashboard as owner.

  1. Open the authenticator app on your phone.
  2. Scan the code on the screen, or enter the key. On your phone you can also choose Open in the authenticator app.
  3. Enter the 6-digit code from the app.

When you log in

  1. Log in to TrustSays Business with the code from the email.
  2. Enter the code from the authenticator app.

Owners must confirm every new session in this way. After 12 hours without activity, everyone in the dashboard is logged out.

Owners only

Admin, Can reply and Read only log in with the code from the email. Under Settings, Security you see your active sessions and can log other devices out.

If it doesn't work

  • The code doesn't match: wait for the next code in the app and try again. Check that your phone's clock is correct.
  • New phone or lost app: contact us and we'll help.
  • No code by email: check your spam folder. See Log in with a code by email.
